Minature and toy poodles

Hi I am new here. I have two poodles. Their names are Marley and Mookie. They are my babies and my husbands. Every day they do something that makes me smile. They love me no matter what. I have just begun my journey have my first appt with the WLS center associated with the surgeon I picked Monday the 10th of 1pril 2006. I am excited. I know it can be a long part of the journey from here to surgery day (and I am not the most patient person) but with this messageboard it will keep me calm.

I lost my poodle last year, she was 14 yrs old and died of heart failure...They are wonderful, smart little people...You can't consider a poodle a dog, they won't have it....Good luck with your WLS, I'm 8 weeks post op..I'm doing very well....I also have a 13 yr old pekingnese and a 5 yr old long hair chiuaha (spelling) that I rescued from a puppy mill.... Sandi, you are so right about them being little people. They sleep with my husband and I. It is good to hear you are doing well. Any pointers you can give me for the hospital or at home during recovery?

HI, we have 1 minature poodle, and his name is Mr. Schmoozie Pants, he is silver and such a sweet little man. We also have a min schnauzer, and a schnoodle. Our schnauzer and Schmoozie will make us sweet little schnoodles. We are headed to Destin, Fl this Saturday and this will be Schmoozies first trip to Fl, the other two have been there many times, we love traveling with our babies, and they love to go byby with us. Rosemary, I love Destin. When my parents were alive, they use go there all the time. My Marley is a minature and also a silver, he is such a sweet heart. Mookie the toy is a red and he is a holly terror but sweet also.
