Topic: New Management says NO PETS !!!
Hi everyone: I am new to the board my name is Diannejasmine.
I had a mini schnauzer for 2 1/2 years then we got new management in my building complex and they said "NO PETS". Sadly, I had to find a home for my beloved mini schnauzer.
Even though I found a really good home - complete with backyard and another girl mini schnauzer for company - I REALLY MISS MY BABY !!!!
Living in an apartment complex sucks..........

Topic: Hello everyone
I am new to this message board and I am still not sure which surgery
would be better for me (Lap-Band is winning right now) but I know I love my pets very, very much and that is why I am here.
I have two German Shepherd's (Asta and Little Sheba), two horses (Glory Flash and Jesse James) and a ****atiel named Maxi.
Some of my pets are world travelers (Germany, UK, Italy), my husband is in the military so we have to move every few years and since we do not have children, we just take our pets with us wherever we go.

That is the sweetest and sadest about the engagement ring. But I know what you mean about crying. I was sitting and my husband was asking all day what was the matter with me all day long I was secretly crying (still I should be better) but I finally told him and he said he was waiting for me to talk about her because he misses her just as much. I just cannot beleive she is gone. I really hope it gets easier because at this point I am still a mess. Even though I have EMMA no it is not any better. Thanks for your post
Topic: RE: sheltie and bully lover
Yeah they are big babies, that is what my husband loves about them, keep me posted if you find one that someone is wanting to let go, we don't have much money to buy one but it would be loved and spoiled!

You will love a english bulldog. I have a female and she is my baby. She is 6 yrs old. Fun to have around. I don't know what I would do with out her. There was a 2 yr old male in the paper for $875. I told my hubby about him but he said no cause he used to raise bulldogs and two is to many. There is alot of care to a English bulldog. I never thought about how much a baby they are. They can't have table scraps they choke on them. Their mouths are bigger than their throats. I have to watch what I give my girl. She sleeps most of the time and snores.

I have a English Bulldog. She is a female. 6 yrs old. She is our baby. Spoil rotten. She has a fence in back yard. A large one. I ask her if she wants to go bye-bye and she stands by the back door waiting. She knows where the Dairy Queen is in town here. LOL. They have doggy ice cream there. She is my partner when I walk out side. I dress her up for Halloween and she goes trick or treat. Every body loves her here in this town. I ask her to show her teeth and she sticks them out. She hops like a rabbit when I ask. She weight close to 60 pds.

Ann:
I am so sorry for your loss! The pain of losing a pet is tremendous.
Just over two years ago I lost my beloved, Spike (a very cuddly lab/sheperd mix). He had been with me over 13 years...since the day he was born. He died a couple of days before Christmas, and I cried all day Christmas Eve. My then-boyfriend didn't know if we should go to the family Christmas. Turns out, one of Spike's last shopping trips with "daddy" was to pick out an engagement ring for mommy...so daddy could ask her on Christmas Eve.
To this day, my husband and I can be brought to tears when we think of our little buddy.
It does get easier.

Topic: Bulldogs
I fell in love with English Bulldogs quite sometime back. At first I wanted one because they reminded me of myself and my family, short and stocky! Now I love them because they are so cute and hugable. At least to me hehe! I recently acquired a couple pugs as well, one fawn and one black. It's funny to watch them play with my male bulldog, the two of them tugging away at him and him rolling around as if they are really taking him down, all 65pds.
