I do agility too, but just had surgery 2 weeks ago. So how long did it take you to get back to competing?

If you have a ****apoo or Cavapoo? What do you love about them? Do they shed? How smart are they? Please no rude commits, NO PUT DOWNS.
I have a standard poodle and a Cav king, both of which are very smart. very loving and wonderful in their own ways.

We also had to put down our dumb, funny, lovable dog of 7years. He had cancer. He was a Retriver/Shephard mix. He made us laugh a lot. We still cry.
Topic: RE: ~~~Pug problems~~~
Pugs are very family oriented. They don't like to be alone. Mine is 9 years old now and I can't get out of her sight without her tracking me down.
If I go from the dining room to the living room, and you can see into either room from the other one, she still follows me.
When I get home from work, she is all over me wanting attention.
It's just that they love you very much. You might try getting a companion for him. It might make a difference, but it might not.

You got that right! We are definitely a breed of our own. I have one pug and really wanted another one, but my baby didn't get along with a puppy.
She's 9 now and cranky so I didn't want to upset her.
Pugs are the best! I have had a lot of dogs, but I think that she tops them all.

I didn't even know there was a dog forum on OH!
I love pugs. You're right, they're like potato chips. I would get another one in a heartbeat if I didn't already have 1 pug, 1 Frenchie, and 5 mutts.
Here is my Polly. She is the sweetest, most affectionate dog I've ever had. And also the dumbest.

I'm so sorry. I know what your going through.
I too have had to say goodbye to long time fur children. Last I lost a little pomeranian that was only 8 years old. That isn't so old but she was one of those who dogs who just grabs you by the heart the first time you see her/him. I had rescued her and I loved that little dog. She had congestive heart failure. I still cry. I have her sister and an eleven year old toy poodle that I inherited from my mother (who also died last winter).
Right now, I also have a 6 1/2 pound poodle/pom mixture that is 15 and still has a strong heart and lungs. I raised her from a pup and I know that's going to be a hugh blow!.
If you need to write, I'm here for ya.

I have a giant pom (15 lbs)! Her name is Chianti. I rescued her and her sister about 5 years ago. I lost her sister last winter, Nicki, last winter. I still cry sometimes.
Topic: RE: Any other Toy Poodle owners?
Hi! I've had poodles and poodle mixes my whole life because of allergies. I currently have an 11 year old white toy that I bought for my mother and then inherited last winter when my mom died. I also have a 1/2 poodle, 1/2 pomeranian that is one of those Once in a Lifetime Pets. You know, your doggy soul mate. She is 15.
Topic: RE: Any other Toy Poodle owners?
I don't have toys, but I have 4 Mini's and 1 Standard. 3 of them are rescues. 3 are also certified Therapy Dogs.
