Topic: Any Jack Russell experts?
I have a 4 year old spoiled rotton Jack Russell/Fox terrier mix. She is a wonderful dog. I love her as much as my kiddo. A person in town is having to give away a full blooded Jack Russell puppy - 6 months old. She brought it over and wanted me to take it. My dog did not act happy with the situation and I had a flashback to three years ago when we tried to keep her with my deceased grandmother's poodle...ended up having to give the poodle away because she wouldn't get along with her. Is there any hope? I told them to take the puppy bac****il I could get further information. I am gone to work allot and I would think it would be great for my dog to have the company but I sure don't wanna have them fights around again that I remember with the poodle. I believe we tried that for at least 2 months or so.

Topic: RE: New Shih Tzu pups
I am sorry for your loss. I have a Shih-tzu and lost one years ago and I still mourn his loss. He was a very special dog (as is the one I have now) and I doubt I will ever forget his antics. Anyway, please post pics of the new pups on your profile. I bet they look adorable. Woof, Serena

Topic: RE: Australian Cattle Dog Lovers
HELLO! YES, my little fur ball is named Maggie May. She will be 3 years old in Feb. of this year. I bought her on a whim--I had never had a dog before and she's the love of my life, sleeps with me and all. She had a bad time of it last year, and almost died after she swallowed a marble that fell off a windchime. Don't ask me why, but after 800.00 and almost dying from bowel obstruction, she passed it. Now she's epileptic and takes phenabarbitol every day. Have you ever had any epileptic ACD's? My vet says they are prone to it but it doesn't show up until after 2 years or so. Valencia in TX

Hello, You could go to AKC.org (it's either .org or .com i forget which) and they will give you a list of all breeds and descriptions of each breed. The site will tell you weather a specific breed is better with children or not. From what i've seen ****zus are pretty good with kids. Good luck!!

Topic: Hope all the furbabies had a great Christmas, too.
I hope everyone had a great, healthy Christmas. And everyones furbabies had a great one, too. I got my furbabies, you can see all 3 of them on my profile page, a toy, not that they don't have any, they have soft, fold bag that holds them in the living room. They go in there at times and pick one specail toy for that moment and play for a while, than drag out another. By the end of their play session Mom has to return all the toys, from all over the floor back to the bag. Well, there most not be too many of us out there that love our furbabies the way we do, so take care of yourselves and the babies, too. Hugs, Lynda

Topic: RE: DOBERMAN LOVER HERE
Hi, I have had three dobermans and have loved all of them deeply. I don't know where you live but there are Doberman Rescues in Texas. Check your internet. I am sure that you will be able to find what you want and be able to give a dog a much needed home. Dixie

Topic: RE: Natural Dog Food...............
I have fed Flint River Ranch natural dog food for years with excellent results. Check the websites, I think you will be pleased. One good thing is that it is delivered to your door and is always fresh. Dixie

I have found the most wonderful dogs at the local shelter. I am sure that if you let your local shelters know your situation and what you want, they will be most helpful. Don't overlook the mixed breds. I have found them to be healthier than the purebreds and are just as wonderful as pets. Good luck in your search. Dixie
