Check out www.petfinder.com if you are looking to rescue one. Otherwise, there are several breeders online. I have a Schnoodle which I love!

Topic: RE: Any Siberian Husky lovers here?
I have a beautiful 8 year old red & white female. We got Hawley 5 years ago from Wisconsin Huskey Rescue. She is my second rescue Siberian. I love the breed. The are the sweetest, smartest, most stubborn and beautiful dogs around. If I had the room I would have many many more. I just found this message board today. Didn't know there was one. So hello to all you Husky Lovers!!!

Topic: spoiled Jack Russell
I am Kristina, I have a 3 year old Jack russell named Baby Belle Angelle and she is a rescue from the city pound. I adopted her May 7,2001. This dog has truly been a god-sent. My best friend, although if you know Jack Russells have strong personalities and she has gotten quite spoiled(my fault) she is no longer eating dog food, she is one the B.A.R.F diet, it sounds disgusting, but it's bones and raw food. She doesn't getthe bones, but she eats fresh raw meats, mostly ground meats. She sleeps in my bed and has a set of her own pillows, she makes me take her out to the bathroom at 2 A.M if she feels like going, she has a toy chest full of toys, and she enjoys a fresh warm bubble bath with conditioner every-other night she's taken over my life, which I don't mind, but my family said I went to far with her no matter what I'm eating Baby wants it, but she doesn't want any old piece she wants what is in my mouth, I usually give it to her people say I'm crazy, I say I'm a die-hard animal lover, am I crazy?

Topic: Bichon Frise breeder hits hard times
My sweet Mom lives in Nebraska and has been breeding Bichons for about 15 years. Her bloodline is about as pure as it gets. In March she lost her husband after caring for him fulltime for years. He is WWII vet and the Vets Admin. have been very slow in helping her to bury the man. She used everything she had saved to care for his final expenses. It seems there is a rip off artist on every corner trying to get a hold of greiving people/widows. Then a tornado hit her farm and torn down the barn. Then, get this! Somehow a mommy doggy, one of her most precious died after delivering four puppies. My mother has provided dogs to John Travolta an Halle Berry, so they real quality dogs. She is found as a preferred breeder on the AKC websites. If anyone is looking for a beaiutiful, loving, personality plus dog, give my mom a call and see if can get you something for Christmas. They really are worth waiting for. Betty's Bichons 308-879-4623

Topic: New to the board
Hi- I am new to this board. My name is Andrea and I have two dogs. Maggie is about 8 years old and is a beagle/corgi/jack russell ??? mix. I rescued her about 6 years ago. She is wonderful, although has been through a lot lately because she has mast cell cancer. We've had two surgeries to try to avoid the chemo, and hopefully, we'll be able to do so for a while. My second dog is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Nicholas. He is 8 mo. old and I have had him for about 4.5 mos. I've never dealt with a puppy before so I am tearing my hair out. He's adorable and sweet and loving but is in the 'chewing stage' and still occasionally pees in the house. Anyway, just wanted to say hi.

Topic: RE: Any Siberian Husky lovers here?
My best friend has a husky kennel (as do I) and she also raises wolf/husky hybrids. I love my babies, and Gemini says "I wuv you". I love the way they talk. You can see my babies at www.heroshuskies.com I read your profile. I, too, am just beginning this journey. I hope to have surgery the end of September to mid October. I am 5'4", 275 with a BMI o**** I have gained 105 pounds since I quit smoking 4 years ago. I have always been overweight, and have gained and lost around 400 pounds throughout my lifetime. I am tired of the struggle. I lost my mother and father very early due to diabetes related illness and heart failure. I know what it did to me to lose my parents so young, and I don't want that for my children. I am 44 next month. When do you plan on surgery?
