Topic: German Shorthair Pointer Puppy
Hi Guys! I live in the San Francisco Bay area and have one puppy left from a litter of AKC German Shorthair Pointers. This final dog is a rare black and white male - age 9 weeks with his shots up to date. He was sold, but then had to be returned due to the new owner's dad being highly alergic to dogs (who knew??!!) - poor man almost died of an asthma attack. This dog was the pick of the litter - he is so cute and loveable. I already have 3 dogs and can't keep another by law. His price is $650, but to the right family I would be willing to discuss price. If you know of a hunter or even a family who likes pointers, have them contact me at [email protected]. Thank you.

Topic: Labrador Puppy
I am wondering if there is anyone in the Southern California area who would be interested in adopting our 8 month old black labrador puppy? She is a FANTASTIC dog, but not meshing into the lives of our other animals (they are all a little older and she is WAY too energetic for their tastes!)
She is fairly well trained, we are working on house breaking and crate training, she sits, lays, shakes, comes when shes called, walks pretty well on her leash. She is SUPER loving, super affectionate, just wants to be petted and cuddled.
She has a LOT of energy so she needs a home with some space and an owner who can play with and walk her every day.
She is totally free, I am only concerned with finding her a good, stable, loving home.
Her new owner needs to keep in mind, she is a PUPPY. She chews. She jumps. She drools. She pees on the floor sometimes. All the surprises and accidents that happen with a puppy.
I have all her papers, vet records, license, immunizations, and the paperwork for her microchip. She is already spayed, and I have a picture I can send if you would like to see her.
Send me a message if you are interested.
Thanks!

Topic: RE: New to this group.
Hi, Corgi lover here!!
We have a 10-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Kit -- he is King of our "castle" -- we love him so much. We've only had him 3 years, and when we got him he had heartworms. He went through 3 treatments before become heartworm negative.
He is so sweet, when I come home from work he bows down to me. I noticed he would get in a position with his head down on his front paws on the floor and his butt in the air. I taught him to "Bow to the Queen" since he is of British birth.
I had a chow mix when I was in high school and loved him. He was so beautiful.
I am a major dog lover!!!

Jessica,
Just incase you haven't yet found a Shih Tzu puppy, I have four of them at this time. Both Sire and Dame are AKC registered, pup's soon to be, AND are QUALITY pups!
This litter has 2 each, male & female and were four weeks old on July 27th. I keep them until they are 10 to 13 weeks old for socialization, training and etc. I also do have a few pic's on my profile...My Stud is also in there; "Meiko".
Contact me and we can talk if you like...I do not esteem them as being "pricy".
Topic: My 17 1/2 year old ****apoo died yesterday
Yesterday I had to put my 17 1/2 y/o ****apoo to sleep. My dear sweet Samantha. I can hardly write this today...I miss her so
. But she had a long and happy life until this week when she had multiple seizures...then I knew. My vet, who I have known for decades (and might I add I put all his kids through college
) said Samantha would never have lived that long and had the great quality of life had it not been for the devotion and great care I gave her. That means the world to me cause there is always the question of "is it the right time?".
So now Samantha is playing pain-free by the Rainbow Bridge with Hunter, Shauna and Phoebe (my Miniature Schnauzers).
I have been playing all day with my 2 y/o mini schnauzer Emma who seems to be grieving too.
If you haven't heard about the Rainbow Bridge, here is the story (I cry every time I read it but it lifts me).
Roberta
Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Topic: RE: Live in Northeast Georgia and looking
I found me a sweet spayed Boston Terrier and she gets along with my 2 older dogs, too.
But, now my mother wants me out of the house. So I will be moving AGAIN, this is the thrid time she has put me out of HER HOUSE, and I pray it will be the last time, burn once, shame on me, burn twice, shame on you, but I let it happen for the third and final time.
She knows how upset I have been with the loss of Hope, my other Boston who died of cancer of the stomach. But she says no more dogs. So if I have to, to keep my sanity and my furbabies I will leave. She is abuseive to me and to her dogs. She has pulled a knife on me and hit me on the head while I was reading, I was taking an on line computer course for vet assiting, and just sitting reading my book and bang up the side of the head she goes. I will not hit her, but I told her I would call the law if she hit me any more.
So PLEASE say a prayer that I find a place by the 3rd of April to move to with me and my furbabies.
God bless all of you.
Love,
Lynda
