The spray I purchased was the Hartz 3 in 1 home spray. There are also flea "bombs" available and Hartz makes them as well. We purchased our stuff at WalMart, but if you are not sure of what to get, I would recommend going to your local pet store and talking to someone.

Last year, the fleas were bad where we live. Our vet told us to vacuum often. He also recommended cutting up a flea collar and putting it the bag of the vacuum. For the furniture and carpet, we purchased a spray. The spray stinks but it seems to work. I would spray your stuff on a day when you can open a door or window and get some fresh air.
We also use frontline. Just a word of caution, I am sure a lot of people can relate to this. We ended up getting a couple bad boxes of frontline and needless to say, it wasn't working at all. If you use a product such as frontline and it doesn't seem to be effective, talk to your vet. We bought new frontline and it works great now.

Does anyone know how to get fleas off a dog and out of your house besides having someone come spray for it ? I know about advantage.

Get on the net and see if there's a daschund rescue located near you and ask them if they can help or know of a vet who might help!

hello i have a year n a half old female shih tzu she is full blood but i dont have akc papers on her at this time but she is a beautiful sweet little dog in very good health and what i can offer you if we are able to meet and breed are little dogs is a first pick of the litter if she gets pregnant, also there is a problem with transportation here considering i have no car and cannot drive, even though it is a bit of a drive where i live i thought if you are interested we could talk on phone and could set a date for you to come to my home with your little dog, i live 60 miles south of st louis in a town called bonne terre, missouri if interested please give me an email at [email protected]

Hi, we adopted a dog (he is a sato - PR street dog) that was very fearfull to people and also other dogs. What helped with ours was joining a obidence class(es) at our local shelter. It gave our "Buddy" some social skills and interaction with different people and dogs.
Agility classes also build his confidence .

You really need to get that poor thing medical attention .Did you know the other dog?? May have rabies or any other type of diesase.I would get in touch with someone fast, hasnt the little guy ever been to a vet before? There has to be a animal clinic in your area to help you also go to petfinder.org message board

Brenda please go to petfinder.org and go to message board has your dog ever been to a vet? My vet would give me a payment plan or call local shelter they May know low cost animal hospitals in your area
