Hi again Kim. Years ago I had a little chihuahua.. his name was pipsqueak..Now he went on to the rainbow bridge. Pipsqueak weighed 2 lbs. He co-existed with 3 ****er spaniels. to make a long story short. Lil' Pipsqueak ruled the roost. He would eat first.. Those ****er spaniels wouldn't dare go near the food when Pippi was eating. He used to give them "what for"!.. I still miss him but am thankful that i was able to give him a good home in return for the unconditional love he gave me. Pipsqueak was also adopted.. He was found in Queens, NY cowering behind a car tire running from some kids that wanted to hit him with a shovel cause they thought he was a rat! Can you imagine!!! hi Kim!! It'll all work out.. and they WILL co-exist with one another. I live with 4 cats and a french bulldog. they get along splendidly.(well most of the time anyway) Viv

I don't know about min-pins but I have a chihuahua that pretty much does the same thing. We have 3 other dogs, and even if I but them all their own toys.. within the hour she has horded em all up into her spot , growling and lording over her theivery! LOL And the funny thing is .. she's she smallet of all of them and they are terrified of her lol even the dang sheppard.. who just kinda sits back on her heels and howls hoping that will convince Magee to give up those toys! They are the funnies things to watch! All mine are spoiled! TTYL- CaNdIe

First congralations for your WLS, I hope all is going well for you. You Labs sound adorable. I have 4 dogs, a chihuahua a chihuahua/terrier mix and a rat terrier and a sheppard! I had two black labs years ago but they have passed. They are all so sweet, and I swear they know when mommy just isn't herself. After my lapband my terrier/chi mix Mickey never left my side and never tried to get into my lap while I was recovering either...it was like he just knew not to. When I slept he would lay his head on my lap and growl at anyone who dared get close lol I love him to death! Best Wishes with your recovery and WL. TC- CaNdIe

OOOOO Kimberly, I am soooo happy for you! Chihuahua's are th sweetest most stubborn-ist animals alive lol but they are soo smart and loving, they are very territorial too.. so this should be an interesting transition for you and Balto! lol Have fun and I wish you the best! TC- CaNdIe
