Topic: My Min Pin is so stingy!!!!
I've had my baby Missy since she was 3 months old. She is very smart, very playfull and oh boy does she love her moma. The only issue she has is that she is so stingy with her toys. A few of my friends have dogs and we are young so we hang out alot and they'll bring their dogs over. Missy will wait for the perfect moment......steel the toy......and run under the love seat. That is where she keeps all her toys. Then she will forbid anyone to come near the love seat. Is anyone elses Min Pin this way or is my baby just spoiled.

Topic: Any Collie Lover's or Humane Educators out there?
Hello, my name is Greer Cowley and I am hooked on collies (although I love all dogs)! I presently serve as VP of the Collie Club Of KY and am also education director. I own only two collies...a blue smoothie male named Micah and a rough mahogany sable ***** named Faith. They are my family and I love them dearly!
I have worked in Humane Education and Animal Science/adult education and would be interested in hearing from anyone with the same interests.
I am scheduled to be "banded" in late November.

Topic: RE: any of you do rescue??
I am so glad you did not give that poor baby back. I would go nuts if any of my dogs were missing and I would definatly not wait any time at all to call and get them back. These people sound horrible and should not own a dog at all. I would no more "forget" my dog than i would "forget" a child. there is NO excuse. I hope that you and your new baby have a long and happy time together!!!

Oh Honey I'm so sorry you had to go through such a loss.
Your fur-baby is in a better lace and she's not hurting anymore. She'll be at the rainbow bridge waiting for you untill your time comes to be together again. I hope that you feel better and i hope that you find another fur-baby to shower all that love that you have on.

I'm sorry to hear about your lose...but please know you did the absolute right thing by putting your baby out of her misery. I have been a dog sitter (side job) for over 15 years and I cry each time I loose a client, so I can only imagine what you're feeling. I have two 7 yr old dogs that I just adore. I keeping telling my family that when they pass on, they are going to have to give me tranquilizers...I love them so much and they love me back. Non-humans are the best.
I wish you continued healing and a happy heart filled with memories!

Topic: RE: Boxer Lover for Life
Gosh I didn't imagine I would have so many others that share their interest in boxers! I have to give a very sad update however. My boxer baby Bubba Jazz passed away January 7th of this year. He wa**** by a car and died instantly. It was one day after my 17yr son's birthday. So many people in our hometown mourned his loss along with us. He was very much loved and had one heck of a wonderful although short life. I miss him terribly. I did get another boxer baby. His name is Gunnar. He and Jazz are opposite ends of the spectrum. He is a tirad. He ate parts of my couch and got a hold of some gorilla glue all over my living room carpet! I love him bunches but I just wish he wasnt so bad!
I really enjoyed reading what each of you wrote about your boxers and other animals.
Thanks for replying all of this was worth the read even a year later.
