I'm going to be 6 weeks out tomorrow & I went back to work on Monday. I guess I was feeling normal until today when I got home from work & my beautiful dog had been hit by a neighbor. She was in the ditch suffering so I had to shoot her to put her out of her misery as her back was broke & she could hardly move & her heart was racing a mile a minute. It absolutely killed me to see her laying there, but I knew what I had to do. I got her buried out in our backyard where it's very peaceful...she was a great dog. I'm dying inside right now though...

I have one Siberian Husky and he is mine. My daughter wants a Great Dane and they are just so expensive. I know this is a lot to ask but is there anyone out there that is willing to give one to a 9-year old little girl. I had one when I was a little girl and he went on to a better place and those are some of the best dogs to have when you have children. Beth

For those of you selling puppies on the internet there is a scam going on. These people say they want to buy a puppy or even the whole litter. They tell you their agent in the US will send a cashier's check for the price of the puppy and the shipping cost to a foriegn country. When you receive the check they ask you to keep out your money for the puppy and wire the rest to the agent who will pick up the puppy. The cashier's check is counterfite. I received one of these checks but called the bank it was written on before trying to ca**** It was counterfit. The bank requested I send the check back to them. This check was for a large amount and I would have been out of the full amount had I cashed it. Thank goodness I had enough sense to check it out first. Linda

I have been doing recue work for 11 years for a PA shelter that does not put their animals down. I currently have 5 cats & 3 dogs all were rescued & have very unique stories. Occasionaly we take in a litter until they are old enuff to be put up for adoption. This is the most rewarding "job" I have ever had.
