I have a 7 year old male boxer named Boomer. As a matter of fact we just got done cleaning his ears out. He loves it. Oh, and let me not forget, believe it or not, he loves to get a pedicure. We have done this to him since he was a baby. I love my little Boomer Boy. If you check out my profile you will see a pic of him, and my daughter. He is the light of our lives. I know how you feel when you say that yours are the love of your life too. Arn't they the best dogs in the whole world ? The best part about Boxer breed is that they are not yappers. Huge Golden fan here as well. I just got my first Golden in February. She's now 5 months old and truly my special girl. Her name is Daisy and I just love the way she smiles!!! I'm planning to try my hand at open obedience and agility with her. Traci

I've got a harlequin Great Dane that was a rescue at 5 months old named Shiva. The breeder wanted to put her down because he only sold show dogs, and she was an overmarked Harley with one blue eye and one brown eye, and I think she's the most beautiful dog I've ever seen. She's now 2.5 years old. Ive also got a papillion named Indra, who is turning 2 July 16th. She's always grown up around big dogs, so she has kind of a big dog mentality. She's very smart, when her sister and two lab retreiver cousins played tug of war with a chew toy, she'd wait for them to fight about it, run below them, grab the chew toy, and run under a car!

I know what you mean. I LOVE them too. I have a purebred shih tzu. Hes going to be 14 this year though. I'm worried about him getting older. I don't know what I would do without him. He always knows when I'm upset and when he was younger he would come get in my lap when I would get upset and sit with me. I also have a 3 year old maltese/shih tzu mix girl. Shes something else. She really has a personality. They are both my babies and I treat them like kids. They are spoiled rotten. Especially the girl since shes younger and DEMANDS more attention.
