Some of the silliest dogs, I swear! I have had ****ers now for over 10 years, all colors, and my "partis" seem to be the best natured & fun loving of all ****ers. They are such little "wiggly-butts," that go from wagging their tail to a full butt wiggle to express their joy! I always had "big" dogs growing up, like setters & labs, but the personality in this pint-sized bird-dog is almost human-like! Now I have three, 2 boys & 1 girl. (1-m-silver buff/white nuetured; 1-m-sable tri; f-black tri) So many people talk bad about the ****ers, and have been exposed to in-bred or poorly bred dogs, which makes them aggressive (along with bad handlers), but I sure have three (and several others in the past) that don't have an agressive bone in their body. It pays to have a well bred dog, and to preserve this breed. I am by all means an amature when it comes to dogs, but I do as much reseach as I can with AKC, breeders, kennels, and best of all my vet on animals before I consider the addition or even breeding. Sometime in the next year, I will be planning a litter for my sable & black for some gorgeous puppies, with great bloodlines. Best of all no in-breeding, and these will have phenomenal personality when the event occures.

I have a wonderful blonde pekingese (pecanese in the South!) she has a beautiful black face with crooked teeth. We have had her a year and she is our baby. Her name is Wendy Woo Tang and we got her from Animal Care and Control here in Jacksonville, FL (That's also the pound). She is smart as can be, cute to a T and very photogenic. There is a picture of here at the bottom of my obesity.com profile (Susan Grindle)page. We have found she knows many words, including Daddy, bath, go outside. She has brought such joy into our lives. I found her after our calico cat went missing, while checking the internet sites for Animal Control. I went and adopted her and she immediately stole our hearts. She has 2 cat sisters and 1 cat brother, all about the same size as she is. Wendy is truly like a child and I make it a point of telling my grown daughter that Wendy is her little sister! Susan

hello trishia, how are you ? i have 3 pugs 2 females and 1 male, i am going to breed them in a few months. i just love them, they do shed big time. i brush then about 2 times a week, outside of course. i am 4.5 months out and have not lost any hair, as of yet i use biotin i take 3 a day i think it's 3000 milligrams. i get them at wal-mart in the pharmacy dept. hope this helps - amanda

want to talk to other people who adore the chinese shar-pei. I have one male black horse/velvet mini pei .He is named after Edgar Martinez and Harley davidson and Frodo Baggins. His akc name is Edgar Harley BAggins. And he is a handful. But he is so sweet. it is hard to get mad at him. His biggest fault is he runs out without his leash on if he gets the chance. Any suggestions on how to break him of this would be helpful.

Hi Nancy, No , you are not alone in your love of shelties... I just found this doggie messageboard. I have a sheltie named Bandit. He's going to be 8yrs old next month. I've had a few dogs in my life and I've got to tell you that by far this little boy has them beat hands down! I've never had a dog that was sooo smart and easy to train. We are just on the same wavelength. we understand each other so well. He's the love of my life for sure.
