Still loosing weight, its a challenge to eat daily and even to drink, and considering that i have insipidus this is quite a reversal from my usual food loving 3 gallon a day habit. many think i have had surgery, if i post a new picture I look as if i did, i have lost 4 inches in my waist. down from a 2x to 1x or a lg shirt. the double chin is almost gone. by the end of summer i should be in the hundred pound range. If i were to get active I surely would be, but the heart condition leave me exhausted all the time. and I still don't like the heat. any thing over 70 degrees is the pits. Times for ice cream malts. Walter, I'm with you on the heat, I'm a snow bunny and think that 70 degrees is hot, LOL! With nordic grandparents (from Denmark) my body is designed to work in frigid temperatures and living down here in the South I just seem to retain water and overheat. But like you, I find that chocolate malts do help Take it easy my friend, Jaime

Save this post, Jaime. Come the next winter (if not sooner) your body's going to become COLD. I was also a hot box and hated to sweat, and now it's the middle of july and I have two blankets on my bed.

*nods in agreement* I'm sitting here this morning in long cotton pajamas, a silky robe, and a sweater buttoned up to my neck. Whoda thunk it just awhile back?

That is great, Walter. I've heard good things about the new medicine. You should post an updated picture for us to see. What is the latest on your insurance? Jeanie

Walter, the fact that you're losing weight is great! And you may find that the weight loss, itself, will positively affect your diabetes. You seem to be doing so well, keep up the good work. I'm with you on the hot weather. But I don't like the cold much better. Now 70 degrees, I could live with all the time! But, here in Michigan, we get both extremes, of course, so you live with it. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Sharon S.
