Good Morning everyon...

Good Morning everyone It has been a little over 5 weeks post op and I have lost 50lb's (that's good) I'm on solid foods (my choice) and seem to be handling that ok (that's great) But the single most important thing since surgery is the fact that: "I'm Not A Diabetic Anymore" (off all med's since surgery) and that to me is priceless Pre surgery med's: 2000 mg Metformin, 45 mg Acto's and 105 units Lantus insulin Have a great day, Otto

Hi, Otto! Isn't that amazing? The remission of diabetes alone is worth having the surgery. I'm sure we have added years to our lives because of it. Your weight loss is amazing, too. You men seem to lose fast. Good going! Jeanie

That is great, I am having surgery tomorrow on 13 diff meds also diabetic, can't wait till I am off of mine, keep up the good work. Abby
