I'm scheduled for hemroid removal on Wed. morning. I have to be there at 10 am. Please swing those chickens, I am really frightened. It sounds like I will be in a ton of pain for a long time. Laura PS. I've had these hemroids for at least 20 years so they are not at all DS related.

You will be feeling better by Wednesday night. Not like new for a little while, but definitely you'll feel some relief. Will you be up for dinner on Tuesday, or shall it be something for Monday?

I think Tuesday dinner would be a good idea. Hopefully by then I will be healed enough to get off my meds and drive. I'm really excited to meet you in person!

OooooooH!! It makes my butt tighten up just to think about it. Best of luck to you, and I'm sure when you are healed up, you'll be glad you did it.... Michelle

Most people seem to be better in a few days, but it depends on how much they do at one time. Most likely it won't be a long time, but it could be more than a few days. Just make sure your doctor is prepared to refill your pain medication if you need them --BT

The Doctor is telling me I will not be able to care for my daughter for a week. He is making it sound pretty scary. I guess he has to prepare me for the worst. He said I would be is serious pain for the first week and then I would still be sore for about a month. Yikes! It is hard to imagine it hurting more than it does when it is flared up now but I guess pain is not really finite, is it? Thanks for your reply, I will be sure to get plenty of pain meds! Laura
