Laura,      Thank you so much for sharing that with me. I have been feeling so much better, I just thought it was due to the 55 pounds I have lost. I think I will just leave coffee behind. I do love chai...if I feel the need for something special, a chai is a great treat.       I too take 50 mg of trazadone. It helps some, mostly with my sleep, which I guess in the long run helps with the overall of the disorder. I honestly don't know what my triggers are, but it sure seems as though I need to stay away from coffee. Thanks again, Lori V

I'm glad I mentioned it!   Chai is my favorite treat too.  I love a breve chai with whip.  It is fun to order too. The trazadone has really helped me with my sleep issues.  I have been an insomniac all of my life and now for the first time in my life I can sleep normal hours!  I even became a Realtor because I could set my own hours. Everything in my life was set up to accomdate my inability to sleep.  Now there are so many more options!   Between the trazadone and getting away from coffee my life is so much better. I hope this works for you too!

Denise, I was told to drink ONLY GREEN tea.  My daughter who had the DS in November 2005 had never experienced kidney stones before her surgery.  Yep, you guessed it.  She recently had an attack.  The main difference in her diet is that she has been drinking a lot of tea.  As a college student, it has been a staple in her diet.  When I told the nurse her symptoms, she immediately asked whether my daughter was drinking tea.
