May I ask why he said it would be a necessity for you? Something to do with your sarcoidosis or something? Or was it more to emphasize that you'll have a whopper of a skin suit left over?  If you think of it, you can tell him that I told you to give him a hard time about his boob stories. You'll get a good blush and laugh out of him :-). He has some real hooters, pun intended!

Hi Elizabeth. :) I'm assuming Dr. P said I would definitely need PS because of the excess skin I already have that will get substantially worse.  I'll try to remember to give him a hard time about the boobs. :)  I just talked to him today.  It was really cool.  I had talked to Robbie the other day and told her that I had a few questions for Dr. P and that I'd give him a call next week since he was getting ready to head out to a seminar for a few days.  Well, here I am this afternoon and my phone rings.  Who should it be but Dr. P himself. :)  He had heard I had questions and wanted to make sure he answered them right away. :) Did I mention that I love Dr. P. :)

Ahhhh okay, so it's not like you have a sinister issue about the skin then, that's good. You'll be AMAZED at how you deflate and get left with this "skin suit." It is the weirdest thing.  I got your PM and will try to get back to you tonight :-).

I guess there is one positive to not having big boobs to start out with.  I will probably end up flat as a pancake like the rest of my family since I only started with a "C." to begin with.  I will probably just have some sagging skin with the nipples pointing at my toes!  If I am lucky, I can roll it up to be an "A" cup!  Thanks for the helpful hints. :)  Lori D

A couple of months ago I went to Macy's to get a new bra.  My first since surgery.  At the time Macy's had this ad campaign "it is all about the fit" or some such nonsense.  Well, after the sales lady had brought in the umpteenth bra -- in the umpteenth size, in desparation she finally said "well the reason you are having this problem is because you lost so much weight!"  Duhhhhhhhh.  Do you suppose that is what it is?  I had to laugh (to myself) I could not laugh out loud because she was working far to hard to try to find me something that would fit.   Red

I do my boob origami like this-- bend (over from the waist), scoop (the boobs up into the bra), straighten (up into a standing position), pull (some of the side skin into the cup), pull (the skin and boobs upward so they fit into the cup better), and point (arrange the nipples pointing forward by sticking one finger into each cup, pulling the nipple around, and checking the symmetry in the mirror). I have been to the specialty store called "Intimacy" in Atlanta twice to be fitted by experts, but my latest bras are Bali size 34 D's.

Ohmygosh - this is my life as I know it - after purchasing my seventh bra last night, I am throwing up my hands in disgust.  At least this one comes with some adjustable pads that you can insert in it.
