Primitive Camping with a DS (some graphic stuff here)
You didn't think I sleep on the GROUND in that sleeping bag, did you? ~giggle~ I sleep in a cot, the sleeping bags are for warmth! Especially now that I don't have any . . . personal cushioning, shall we say, to keep me warm? YAY for no personal cushioning!!!
Your avatar is absolutely gorgeous, sweetie. Isn't this an amazing transformation? Do you think we'll ever get used to it?
Love and hugs

Yep, that is what I thought! GOOD! I was actually thinking about your primitive camping trip this morning while brushing my teeth of all things and was thinking " She's a better woman than I am cause I couldn't handle it!"
Thak you Jezia. I do not know if we will ever get used to it. Kissy Kissy. Jamie

a COT!??!? what's a cot?
THAT'S not "primitive camping"
gotta get yourself a therm-a-rest sleeping pad. Rolls up small and light enough to add to your pack easily, and is surprisingly comfortable for what it is.
and a port-o-let?? come on... google the phrase "cat hole" THAT'S how you're supposed to take a dump in the wild. very little cleanup required... and you only need a small folding shovel.
I highly recommend this book:
