I appreciate the hug if that is what it is. I didn't understand "why am I so exhausting"? Do I complain too much about not being able to get the DS or not having the money to do it now? Okay, I will be more quiet. Thank u.

This is partly what people were trying to get you to understand in the whole "vs" thing that you responded to yesterday.  There's a world of difference between seeking a revision due to a true mechanical failure and seeking a revision because you've quit being compliant with the guidelines of your surgery choice - and though some people are trying to twist things around as this being "mean" to you - it's not.  Telling people your RnY failed you, yet you yourself admit you've drifted into carbville - which is dangerous waters no matter "which" surgery you settle with - what kind of reaction would you expect from folks?  It happens - we're human beings - no one's going to fault you for that - but then be "real" about what's going on instead of misrepresenting the situation as being out of your control and entirely mechanical.  We're rooting for your success no matter WHAT happens - revision or not.  This isn't a war - despite the rhetoric that gets tossed around.

Karen: I'm sorry your post about getting on track turned into a really ugly war. The bottom line is that you are struggling and trying to find a way back to good health. Yes you are gung ho DS and sometimes strike a nerve. However, if your insurance and your revision doctor think you are a good candidate than all the rest of us can do is wish you the best of luck getting back on track and winning the frickin fight against obesity. Sometimes everyone gets so caught up in getting the last word in they forget that there are real people who are really hurting. Good luck with the protein recipes. I need to RNY modify the fluff and try that one myself. judi
