Mines is 75 cm and since July 22 I have lost about 12 lbs. But I got a horrible muscle bubblein my upper belly. Dr. Romero says it can be corrected with tummy tuck. I needed to know that at first.

Constant diarrhea? Severe malnutrition? Bwahahahaaaaa! Ah, hahaaaaaa!

Now, let me pick myself up from the floor. I'm one of those with a common channel of 50 cms - yeah, that's the lowest they will go. And if anything I'm constipated. A little bit of the runs might be welcome in this area right now! Malnourished? I don't think so. My labs say I'm doing pretty darned good aside from a bit of anemia.

People that have opinions like this have nothing to draw from except the results of the outliers - those on the severe ends of the scale that by luck of the draw have ended up with the bad end of the stick. The naysayers will always use the examples of these poor souls to bolster their beliefs, whether they're rooted in facts or not. It sucks, but there it is. Judge for yourself!

That someone is full of crap. My CC is 75 cm and I have no diarrhea and nothing even remotely resembling "malnutrition."

Malabsorption is NOT synonymous with malnutrition.
