Before I order a case of these, just curious if anyone has tried  "Nature Grain's Low Carb Bagel Bar"?   They are available for online purchase at Sam's Club and they have 14g net carbs, 10g Fiber, and 10gProtein.  (They are low fat but I can take care of that easily lol)   The online taste reviews are thumbs up but would love to hear the same review from DSers:

Yikes, that's a lot of bagels.  Won't they go bad?  I would love to get some too.

One of the online reviews said they freeze and defrost well....with 72 bagels in the case they would have too!!! LOL   Where I'm at in my weight loss journey, I'm a moderate carb eater...not low low like in the early days.   When the mood strikes for my old carb favs, I usually have less of the real thing and load them up with fat ....1/2 a NY Bagel or Philly Pretzel dipped in cheese.  Part of me wonders, if this product will be too much of a good thing...I'll be snacking on bagel bars every day LOL or too much of a bad thing and a waste of $.  Still on the fence.

a Bagel Bar.....   I'm having trouble imaging this....  Is it a rectangle shaped bagel???  or a protein bar flavored like a bagel....  What's a bagel bar????   and PLEASE    write a review....  I'm missing the NY bagels something fierce!!!!   but a Philly pretzel would be great, too....
OK, deep dish pizza....   I'm feeling kinda carb deprived today....  (grin)       Mary C

Mary- I'm with you sista on missing my old carb laden friends at times so maybe this is an alternative.   A few online reviews did mention they have the taste/ texture of a bagel but a hint of sweetness (the ingredient list mentions cinnamon/apples/raisins), it gets the protein from wheat protein isolate and soy flour....I'll be pissed if they taste like a protein bar LOL .  Maybe they are more like a cereal bar....It's a 2 oz serving and the nutritional info is close to 2 slices of low carb bread.  So maybe they are worth it.....hmmmmmm  lol  I saw a post about these on an Atkins site and they said should be used for people in pre-maintenance/maintenance phase.

Well I eat the regular bagels (not the bagel bar) from Nature's Grain - Carb Check.  I found them at out local grocery store - Bag N Save.  They have original, cinnamon swirl, and whole wheat.  I just stick them in the toaster and then load the cream cheese on - I love them.  For the bagel (which might be a little bigger than the bar) it contains 36g carbs but 18g fiber and 14g protein.  I really don't get gassy after eating one of these.  I will ususally eat eggs for breakfast but once in a while you just have to have a bagel and this does the trick.

Now my bag only comes with 5 bagels so I don't know how long it would take you to go through 72 - although they don't taste diety so family members would not know a difference.  I say go for it and freeze them until you are ready to use it.

Let us know what you think.

I'm not a DSer, but I've tried them and love them! They come in 6 bags and each bagel is individually wrapped, so I keep all but one bag in the freezer until I'm ready for the next bag.  They have a good cinnamon flavor and are good toasted or straight out of the package.  If I toast them I usually put butter on them, but I bet peanut butter or cream cheese would also be good.  They are not as dense as a regular bagel, but definitely a good alternative.

These sound like what they  used to sell called "Energy Bars".  The energy bars were very good.  I liked them toasted with cream cheese.  Please let know if you get these and if you like them.
