Hey i figured i would start posting.

B-4slices of bacon and a hunk of cheddar cheese
L- Wendy's baconator without the bun of course:)
D-Small bowl of chili with Cheese and a few pork rinds.

This is kind of what i have been eating for the past three weeks in order to lose the weight i have been hanging onto, i usually switch up lunch and have a salad with ham and turkey.

I feel like i am not eating enough but i am not allowed to snack in between meals or eat after 8pm i also have huge restriction and for example today it took me three hours to eat my baconater ... crazy or what?

Hi Dutchy!
I saw your post regarding getting back on track earlier. That was really motivational to me! I am surprised that you can't snack. Well, my DR doesn't want me snacking either. Maybe I need to follow your lead. But, I got so confused and your post is a perfect example...
I can eat like 3 or 4 bites of a meal within a meal timeframe. But, then I get hungry later...
Or the meal I am to consume take a long, long time to eat....
So, my question was always, when does a meal become a snack? LOL.

The snacking after 8 pm rule is a good one too.

Anyways, I made the soup that was on here the other day, the enchilada. MY GOD< YUM> !

Well, my food for the day:
2 scoops protein in coffee.
A cup of the enchilada Soup.
4 oz of milk with scoop of protein
another cup of enchilada soup
1.5 of a bag of microwave popcorn
.25 cup of dry roasted peanuts
Vitamins, diet coke, water...

Exercise: Cleaning House and Shoveling Snow  2 hours

My doctor doesn't want me to eat three hours before bed... so nothing after 8pm, I have had a very hard time losing with my ds and he figures i don't malabsorb like the norm so he put me on a very extreme diet.

Why does it take me long well i have huge restriction eveb after 19 months i can only eat a few bites if food and then i get very full... he says i am lucky to have that still after all these months.

Does he have any ideas as to why you don't malabsorb so well?

No real idea as to why i don't like the norm.

My food just doesn't process like a typical DS'r, I can eat full fat full sugar and i don't get any loose stools, as a matter of fact i can probably count on one hand how many times i have had the "trots" .. mostly i am constipated and i believe that has been an issue for me from the get go, but my doctor disagrees, he said it has nothing to do with malaborbing ???

I'm a mystery lol

Have you ever considered consulting with another surgeon?

Well that was an issue for me because i ate so little i was snacking all the time, It took two weeks but now i don't snack my body has adjusted and i just wait for my next meal, the first two weeks my stomach burned and i was soooooooooo hungry .. but now i just get a little reminder that i am hungry and its no big deal.

My lunch yesterday ran way too late i should of saved half the burger for dinner but i kept picking at it .. normally tho it takes me about an hour to eat a meal.
