The good, the bad and the ugly of DS

People, please stop flaming me because I don't like to FART IN PUBLIC.  It's a choice.

Also, I am 38 years old...my mom is 64 and still feels the way I do.  So age has nothing to do with if I'm "old enough".

Could we PLEASE get off the FARTING ISSUE??? And get back to the issue at hand.....

All I'm hearing is a bunch of squaking, and all I asked for was your experiences so I can MAKE an informed decision.

That's all I'm asking for.  please help me out.

(by the way, if you look at the left hand side of the screen you'll see that I'm "seeking revision". So the fact that I didn't include that in my first post...well, I figured everyone would see that I was indeed "seeking revision"  so for that I do apologize for not spelling it out)

Nobody "LIKES" to fart in public (well, except Paul).  The question is, are you so terrified of the humiliation that you would rather be fat and unhealthy?  Your words, not mine.

You WILL fart in public, probably, at least upon occasion, at least in the early days before you learn what you can't eat.  If that's too much for you to bear, move along, nothing for you to see here -- especially about how much better our lives are on average than LapBanders and RNYers.  Because if farting is a showstopper for you, well, it just IS.

I watch what I eat, and when I eat it, and mostly don't have problems.  I also carry a can of Ozium with me for the occasional oops.  I eat carbs at night and often fart up the bedroom while I'm asleep.  I don't care, and my DH doesn't seem to be bothered by it, or at least not compared to how unwell I was before my DS.  HE buys and brings me the treats I eat that cause me to fart, so I can blame him anyway.  He knows I enjoy them, than I don't eat them during the day, and so he "enables" his own discomfort -- because he thinks I deserve to enjoy the foods I like, even if they might make me fart.  How does YOUR husband measure up to that standard?

No *****what u did was state as a fact (b/c YOU KNOW) that we have gas - to many if not all food. Where the **** do u get off stating such a lie?  I dont get gas any more then I did post op. So **** you and your fake inquiry.

Dont act like you generally want information w/ implications like these.  And btw...you get gas now...if you say you never have gas then not only are you an arrogant ***** but you are also a dillusional *****

That stupid ***** needs to go back the RNY board where she came from.  Oh...but they fart...guess she better just wait around to die from being so fat.  Yeop...straining your heart by being so fat is a much better thing to do then to risk ever having gas (b/c dont u know she never gets gas now - and if she does she must think it smells like roses - stupid *****).

Yup. Guess she'd better go back and work her tool some more, since the world will end if she farts.
