I lost mine for the most part. I am still very picky about my shoes when I know I'll be on my feet all day, but for the most part -- no more pain for me!

When I was MO, my feet hurt every SINGLE FRICKIN' DAY OF MY LIFE!!    I had plantar fascities and was absolutely miserable with it.  I would cry when my feet hit the floor.     It is completely, absolutely gone.  Like Val, the only time my feet every hurt is when I wear something stoooopid like pointy toed stilettos, LOL.    Like others, I am still picky about my shoes and feet....I'm on my feet all day with teaching music and choir and up and down stairs, and I swear by my Danskos, Borns and Keens.   I have Dansko clogs in every color, and even have Dansko pumps!

Well, Julie, EVERYBODY'S feet hurt when they wear stilettos, even skinny *****es!

I'm hoping hoping hoping I can finally wear a medium width shoe.  right now I wear 6 1/2 WW or 7 WW.  And hoping to be pain free.

My feet would hurt every day.  I had the same experience as Sharon - I'd wince when my feet hit the floor every morning.

Now, they only hurt when I've been rockin' the stilettos for too long.

I have / had (won't ever go away but MUCH MUCH improved) arthritis in my feet.  I had been to a specialist who made me orthopedic inserts for my shoes, didn't help.  I would cry getting up in the morning the pain was so bad.  Now at almost 11 months out it has been months since I felt that pain.  I bounce (ok, so not really but you get the point) out of  bed and don't even think about my feet any more.  Pre op they were just trying to put off foot surgery and now I dont' even think about the pain much.  I haven't worn heels for probably 10-15 years and Saturday I will be wearning heels....one of my BIGGEST wows cuz I used to wear them all the time when I was younger....

don't get me wrong, I still have some pain when on my feet a long time, but overall the pain is so much reduced that I'm thrilled with it!

I have a totally collapsed arch in my left foot and partial in my right.  Before surgery it was an ordeal to walk any distance.  I am finding now that I am in much less pain.  I am also looking forward to having in-office corrective surgery once I've lost enough weight to get the support back in my ankles.  Then I expect to run with my grandson!!!!!

I think that taking weight off your joints will be a *tremendous* benefit to you and will greatly reduce your pain!!!!
