what's going on with me

Hi guys!  Just wanted to update you all since you were so helpful when I needed it.  :)

I had an appointment with a new psychiatrist today.  It went really well!  He is extremely thorough and totally understands that my DS is a big deal (he even photocopied my surgery card!).  He's gathering basically ALL of my medical/mental health records, labwork, etc.  Nobody's ever taken such an exhaustive look at me, you know?  It's very comforting.

I'm going to start seeing him twice a week.  We'll probably do some medication tweaking at my next visit.  He's writing me a note for work.

I feel good today.  It feels like things are going to get better.

Georgina, I'm so relieved to hear that you are feeling more positive today. Been thinking about you since your last post. Glad you were able to move things forward with a new treatment plan and psychiatrist.

Thank God you wrote - weve been worreid about you.  So happy to hear that things are going so well and you've found a doctor who's prepared to work with you and actually do a deep dive, it's got to be very comforting.  What kind of note did he write for you?

I'm getting the note at my next visit, but he said "You just tell me when you're ready to go back to work."

I am so happy for you that you found a doctor that is good and really cares.  I hope you can find a medicine level that works well for you and you can start to feel better.  (((((HUGS)))))
