New hair...wanna see? (Picture is here now...I'm a dork)
I like the hair. (In my best Zsa Zsa Gabor voice) You look maaahavelous dahling.
I wanna go get a wig
This growing my hair out thing is taking forever. I am still not at short bob length after 5 months. Damn, my stupid thin hair and how it stupidly fell out by the handful and now doesn't want to grow like a stupid-head.
Give me the low down about wigs.

I LOVE this wig! I've kept saying since my stupid hair won't grow that I was going to buy myself some, I finally broke down and just did it. I love it and hubs loves it too! Yay!
Oh, the low down on wigs is you HAVE to try them on. You just never know what one is going to look like until it's on *your* head. This one's a cheapie, but I love it none-the-less. It's a synthetic wig, I wouldn't want to deal with the upkeep of a human wig. They need to be washed every other day. This one is a once a week washing, in cold water with wig shampoo and conditioner. Hang it to dry and you're good to go for another week. This one will probably need to be replaced every 5-6 months since it's a lesser quality, but i'm already scouring the net to buy it in other colors.
I've had it on all day and it's super comfy! It's a Beverly Johnson lace-front wig. It's not even itchy at all!!! I've had more expensive ones and they are pretty itchy at times.

Lori, I'm really interested in looking into wigs, I don't even know who would sell them. I'll have to check Google out. Question, though: does wearing a wig in any way retard the growth of new hair? I am not in terrible shape yet, but it is only a matter of time, i've started to lose hair and I was already quite thin to begin with.
Also, do you know an approximate price range of a synthetic wig (the upkeep just doesn't sound fun to me, etiher).
Thank you :)
