When will the hair loss stop and start growing again

It should only last a few months, and it's coming out because new hairs are pushing it out so yes, it's already coming in.  Try a different style that you can pump up the volume with..something with layers and texture.  That will help blend in the new growth too.

I don't know, I've always hated my hair.  I did wigs from months 4-8, got a really short cut and tried to let it grow, and wound up hating it again.  I've been back into wigs for a couple of months and I'm LOVING THEM!  I have actually shaved my hair as short as my husband's all over to get a fresh start.  I may or may not go back to trying to do my real hair, for now I'm having a lot of fun with wigs!  Here's a pic of me this past weekend....did I say I love my wigs?

I am getting close to 3 months out and I have just noticed a lot of hair falling out!  I always had thick hair, so hopefully, it won't be too bad.
Good to know that it will stop around 8 months out.

I am having this problem right now.  I'm 8 months out from surgery. I couldn't stand the hair loss. I called my surgeon and said it might be an iron problem. In august, my iron stores (ferritin) was 76. In October, it was 25. The normal is 20 - 200. That is a big range and now I'm on the low end of Normal. Its too low for me. I talked with a hematologist and he said hair loss can occur from iron deficiency. I am getting three iron infusions to bring my numbers back up.  I heard it needed to be around 40 to stop losing hair and 70 to regrow.  Like I said, in august it was 76 and now its 25. I was freaking out also because its getting too thin and I'm still losing. The doctor thinks the infusions should help alot. Just wanted to let you know it could be something more than the surgery itself. If you have any questions you can personal message me.
