6 months, onederland, 110 lbs down, swine flu. OH MY!
Sorry I've been MIA. The swine flu struck our household. I got my vaccine last thursday and friday night my DD developed a whopping fever. So far, knock on wood, DH and I haven't gotten it and we have been coughed and sneezed on by two very sick children. I think the kids are on the mend, but it is a scary thing. My 5 year old DS woke up wednesday am with a fever of 103.9! I've never seen a temp that high. Luckily the fevers are down, just some lingering congestion which I hope will clear up without antibiotics. So I've been playing nurse and using up every bit of sick time, personal time and favor I could to get the last week off. Now I think I'm working every night until the next millenium, but ce la vie.
In the meanwhile I'm finally in onederland. YEAH!!!!! I won't actually be 6 months out until the 13th of this month, but I'm celebrating early. I've lost 110 lbs and I feel amazing! I've gone from a size 26/28 to a 14/16. My blood pressure is normal/low (I was on meds prior to surgery), my sleep apnea is long gone, my fasting glucose is an 80 down from 110, my cholesterol is 120 down from 210. I think I look pretty damn good and I'm having a lot of those weird body issue moments like when I see myself in a mirror or dark window and I have no idea who that thin woman is with my daughter. Also I am pursuing things that I never would have at 306 lbs. I've starting taking classes to pursue a physicians assistant degree something I've always toyed with, but never really committed to.
I'm sorry I don't have pictures yet. It's just been too crazy. I will try to get them this weekend and post some, because I have my outfits and poses all picked out. Photo ***** Oh yeah! I have these great scrubs that I can now fit my daughter into with me that should really make a statement. Anyway, hopefully I'm back now to offer my unsolicitated opinions on every subject available.

Wow you have done an amazing job!!
So sorry to hear the kids are sick. Did they have their H1N1 flu shots? We actually just got the kids' H1N1 shots this morning so I'm praying they don't get sick - and that there will be more shots available for the boosters in a month! They ran out of the vaccine right after my kids got theirs and hung a big sign on the door "NO MORE H1N1 VACCINE" as we were leaving.
