6 months, onederland, 110 lbs down, swine flu. OH MY!
Thanks for all the well wishes. It has been an amazing ride so far and it's not over yet.
I wish the swine flu was over. I wasn't able to get the kids vaccinated. I got vaccinated the day before my daughter got ill, but it wasn't available for kids until this coming week which is now too late. My poor son is having an awful recovery. We took him to the ER friday night with bronchitis and an ear infection. He's on azithromycin and seems to be getting better. His color was better tonight when I put him to bed. It's just so scary. We've had two deaths in our ER tonight that they are attributing to swine flu complications. I wish this **** would go away.
In the meanwhile I will get pictures done and posted this week. As far as excercising goes I hate to admit it, but I'm a slug. I walked every day for the first couple months following surgery to help speed recovery, but once I went back to work I haven't done much of anything. I try to lift weights a few times a week just to help with firmness, but I haven't don't anything aerobic in months. With eating I always always eat my protein first. I am careful about getting in my 100 grams of protein a day and I always get my vitamins in. I'm usually very good abou****er, but once in a while it slips. I don't count carbs. I know a lot of people do have to, but I haven't yet, but honestly eating 100 grams of protein doesn't leave me much room for carbs. Plus I can't eat any pasta. It doesn't sit well. It upsets my stomach and gives me awful gas/diarrhea. But beyond that I pretty much eat what I want. It hasn't slowed my weight loss yet, but I do notice that I lose much faster when I cut down on the simple/white carbs.
