Renee,

Thank you.  I have fantastic memories of Momma.  We've always been close but with her living with DH and me, it made us especially so.

I hope you are doing well after your loss and that time is helping you with the pain.

Sia,  thanks for the love and peace.

I do feel peace because things would have been so painful for  Momma had she lived.   You are so sweet.  Thanks for your good wishes.

I'm so sorry for your loss Nancy, I lost my mom in 1991 and still miss her. I'm glad you got to be with her for the last part of her life and that she didn't have to suffer long. At 86 she had a long and from your posts a very good and productive life.

Again, so sorry for your loss,

Kerry

Thanks, Kerry,

It was a blessing that she didn't suffer more.  I'm very grateful for that.  The end was peaceful and quiet.

Nancy...biggg hugs...I lost my mom August 2 this year...and found out a week or so later that I was approved for surgery...it was really hard, as my mom was also my #1 cheerleader....we released balloons at my moms funeral...and had a get together "party" after...because she always told us to celebrate her life not mourn that she was gone...of course we mourned but we also celebrated all she had done and all the lifes she had touched....she was and amazing women as it sounds like your mom was as well....

And just remember she will be right there in spirit with you during your surgery comforting you and helping to watch over the dr's and help guide them.... and after, when things get hard...which they will sometimes...just remember your mom is right there beside you and it's ok to talk to her and draw comfort from knowing how much she loved you and wanted this for you...if you ever need to talk...I'm here...hugs...

Nina
