OT My Mom
I am so sorry to hear about your mom. What a large and wonderful family you have. Your mom will be the BEST guardian angel during your surgery and for your recovery. You sound like a wonderful daughter and you are making your mom proud. I hope you can find peace around her passing. My heart goes out to you.

Dear Nancy - I just lost my dad, a week ago Wednesday, 11/11 and his funeral was last Saturday, so I totally understand where you are. He was 81. Your mama was lucky to have all ya'll around her. You keep your surgery date and know that she's going to be right there with you, as will your friends here on the board. Get some rest sweetie.

Nancy,
I'm so sorry about the passing of your mom. Losing a parent, especially one that you are close to is never easy. My mom passed away three years ago and I still grieve for her today and there are days when I miss her something terrible. I just want you to know that my heart goes out to you and your family and I wish everyone peace.

Nancy, I am so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. And right before your surgery. I know how hard it is for you. I too lost my mother (last year) and she was my best friend and biggest cheerleader too. I miss her every day and wish that she could be here to go through this wonderful DS journey with me. But I know she is as excited as I am about my upcoming DS surgery from her front row seat in heaven! And so is your mother!
Good luck with your surgery. And you will find out that the best way to honor your mother, and what I'm sure she wanted for you, is to live a healthy and happy life.
I'd say we are both on the right track!
