Finally got a surgery date.....

I know Sandy - can you believe it, I'm really happy it's finally going to happen.

I'm going to be in a similar situation as you, about a 7 hour drive from home.  I think about how you drove by yourself after surgery and it took you 2-3 days to make it back.  I can't believe you did it.  I can't imagine what you must have been going through.  I'm trying to work out logistics in my mind.

Ahh, thanks Michelle.  Thanks for all of your support and wisdom during this journey.  Glad we've finally got something on the books, can't wait to be having different kinds of conversations w/you guys.

GREAT news!!  I am so happy to hear it.  I'm almost 7 months out, and down 90 lbs!  You'll do every bit as well.

PP - I can't believe how well you've done.  When I read the stuff you eat I'm just so blown away.  You keep losing and losing.  I'm trying so hard to wrap my arms around this new way of eating and still being able to lose weight, Im really happy for you.  You must feel great.

LOL, you're so cute.  Can't remember the last time I felt giddy.  I'm kind of in shock I guess, the reality of it all hasn't set in.  I expect to be boucing off some walls later in January.
