yellow poop

Question for you old timers,
How long to you have the yellow poop?  I am two weeks out and it is not bothering me, it is just facinating.  I was just wondering how long it took most of you to get back to normal looking stool, if ever.  I still have my gall bladder(my surgeon could not get it safely), so will that make a difference?  Thanks.

Howdy Nursevil !

You and hopingintx were the week before me,  I have not had my gb for over a year, so I would think this is all DS. As I was revised from lapband to this,  Mine are a pretty yellow too !!

I believe thats the right color for us DSers.  I'm 9 months out and still tanish yellow.  I think it has something to do with the fat we malabsorb.

From what I understand, its because our digested food is not exposed to as much bile and pancreatic enzymes, since it only mixes with those substances in the common channel.  Blonde poop is the new normal.  Take some iron.  Its then a very interesting green...lol
*   Take 1 DS, add a little p90x and stir :)
