Well, when I was on Osmolite (enteral feedings) my poo was yellow all the time. I've been off of it about 8 weeks now and my poo most days is still that color. I'm 4 months out.

My poop got 'normal' around 4 months once I started on a pro-biotic and became religious about taking my vitamins every day.  I know I sound like a broken record, but if you want a wonderfully firm, less stinky, regular poo getting on vitalady's schedule is the way to go.  I start every day with 2 poly irons, 10 tender irons (and vit C and copper) and then I take my other vitamins 3 more times/day with calcium at each one.  I take a magnesium citrate with my bedtime vitamins.  Sure as little green apples I have a nice poo every am within an hour of waking.  It's quick, it's easy and it's the law..... ok it's not the law, but it's nice.  If I eat too many carbs I may have another looser stool later in the evening, but that's it.

This might not work for everyone, but it is the easiest thing to try and I'm always surprised to hear people not trying a regular vitamin routine before resorting to more drastic measures.

My poop is yellow, but I thought it was from not having a gall bladder.  At least, that is what Dr. Oz says!

Not so much yellow much...more like grayish green.

Mine runs from butterscotch colored to a gray green too.  The only constant is that I will have to poop within an hour (and usually within 10 minutes) of getting up.

I've been on Vitalady's schedule for about a month now, with Vit K and milk thistle thrown in.

Nurseevil -- THANK YOU for asking that question -- I'm 6 weeks out and I thought there was something wrong with me because my poop is either yellow or very light tan.

I had my gallbladder out 18 years ago and my poop didn't change color.

Just relieved to know its normal now and I googled it -- it is because of fat malabsorbsion and other things I'm sure.

If you think yellow is fun, wait until you have to supplement extra iron one day...it turns green.

Mine's tannish-yellow, too.  It was greenish when I took iron.  Frankly, I don't care what color it is, as long as I'm not constipated!!!
