Actually, I've been pretty conservative with my clothes even when I was in my early 20's and weighed 125. That is if you don't count my braless period. That won't happen again, I can assure y'all. The girls may be getting smaller, but they will never, ever be perky again. Anyway, what prompted this was a clearance pencil corduroy skirt that just tops my knees. I wore it with tights and just loved the way it made me feel. It's been so long since I wore anything shorter than mid-calf I was joking around with the girls at the office and calling it my **** Skirt. It reminded me of my darling grandma who wore culottes about two inches below her knees and called them her mini-skirt. I sincerely doubt I'll get too wild, yet it is exciting to actually be close to wearing stylish clothes. I'm not to goal yet, but even the 16-18's I'm getting into now are so much better than my size of 32-34's. And let's face it, at my age I have to wear sensible shoes due to years of foot abuse pre-obesity then being obese just worsened the problem. I can't image wearing hootchie clothes with orthopedic oxfords. LOL I'm sure I'll find a happy and sane middle ground in both my clothes and shoes. The phrase "Geriatric ****" made me giggle and I thought there might be some others who might relate.
