He is awesome, he doesn't have a website because it is frowned upon in Brazil to advertise medical services, however, look up his yahoo group and you will find many happy post-ops as well as contact and general information.

He is considered to be one of the finest DS surgeons in the world. He no longer has a web site because of legal concerns. I'm not sure it it's just illegal for physicians in Brazil to advertise that way, or what.. There is a Yahoo group for his patients though, http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/DrMarchesini-DS/
If my insurance had not come through to pay for my DS with Dr. Smith in GA, I would have gone to Dr. Marchesini.

Dr. Marchesini was my surgeon also. I did a lot of research on him before I contacted him.
He orignally studied thoracic surgery at Cambridge in England.
He was the Chief Resident at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School here in the US.
He is a member of the ASMBS.
He is a member of the International Bariatric Society (not sure of the exact name)
He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. F.A.C.S.
He is an awesome human being and I would trust him to operate on any one I loved.
