Raw tongue
my tongue is really sensitive. it's sore and feels swollen. My mom says it sounds like a vitamin deficiency. I"ve tooled around the net and figured it could be a B3 (niacin) deficiency, or anemia.
I already take a multivitamin, guess I'll up that. As far as the anemia goes, last bloodwork showed I was anemic. My primary doctor took some blood today and by thursday I should have my referral to the hemotologist for iron infusions.
meanwhile, all food makes me nauseus (sp) and I've started having head aches. The only protein I can tolerate are my shakes. which I might have to up to 3, if this keeps up.
I'm a bit worried.

Sorry, Dana. Definitely something you need to check into.
I was a bit worried that this post was going to contain a recipe!
