Tara - I am sorry to hear your sad news.  I, too, lost my father to cancer just a couple of years ago and it is very hard.  Especially when you mother lives so far from you.  You have my deepest sympathies and prayers for healing for you and your family.

Tara - I'm so sorry for your loss and will keep you and your family in my prayers.  I just lost my dad in November and boy, we still need prayers.  (the evil is rearing it's head from my sister)  Please PM me if you need to dump on someone.

my heart goes out to you and your family. I lost my dad 1.5 years ago suddenly and it hasn't gotten any easier. Weather you know It is going to happen or not it still is very heartbreaking. my thoughts are with you all.

"Look at a stone cutter hammering away at his rock, perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it.  Yet at the hundred-and-first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not the last blow that did it, but all that had gone before."  ~Jacob A. Riis
