OT: Aunt has finally let go
My mom's only sister told everyone on Thursday evening and Friday morning (5 brothers 1 sister) that she was tired, tired of fighting, tired of living life barely able to breath, that she was ready to "go home".
She talked to her children, and my uncle, told them all the same thing. That they needed to let her go.
My cousin was giving her a breathing treatment (poor thing had been awake for over 48 hrs with her mom already) and she (cousin) stepped into the bathroom, when she came back into the room, she (aunt) was slumped over in the chair. My uncle and her did CPR until EMS got there, they got her to the hospital, they all worked on her for an hour. And finally let her go.
My uncle is awful. My mom told him that they needed to let her go, that's what she wanted. He said "I know, but don't want to!" Next month is their 59th wedding anniversary. They've been together for 62 years.

That is so sad. I hope she is resting in heaven now and your Uncle and family can find some solace in the fact that she no more pain. I feel for you all and will be thinking of you honey.

Had a band in 2005 at 280lbs, had band removed and DS done on Jan 22nd 08 at 220lbs in Spain, now 135lbs and a size 4!! Happy as a Clam!!
