Yes.. your heart hurts and you will always have an empty spot where when he was alive was filled.. My Mom's been gone 10 months now and the empty spot is filling back in with loving memories of her and the acceptance that she's gone. I'm sorry for your loss.. it does hurt. Be good to yourself and allow yourself to experience your grief in any way that it comes. It's OK and will get better.. or so they tell me.. the jury is still out on that as far as I'm concerned.. as it is with my sister's passing and as it is with my brother's passing.. I'd give anything to have each of them back if only for one more day......but then reality sinks in and I know it is what it is...........
