I lost my mother the same way in March. She'd had Alzheimers for several years and it was time. When the actual time came, she was at home and my youngest sister was holding her.

I know the pain your heart feels but I can tell you that in a few months, the pain will start to lessen and those happier memories will start creeping back in to remind you all all the good times you had. My thoughts and prayers are with you right now.
