No afterhours nurse line - is this ER worthy?

The one above my belly button gapped a bit at one end for about a week after surgery. I don't think you're in any dire danger as long as there's not an actual hole all the way through. Just keep it clean (maybe some peroxide on a q-tip?) and use something like a butterfly bandaid to try to keep the edges of the wound together so that it can heal more quickly.

Thank you all for your quick responses! Sorry it takes me so long to get back on here. I have 2 little boys that keep me quite busy during the day. I got ahold of my surgeon this morning - he said it was probably fine, and he's going to check it out tomorrow morning at my follow up appointment! (And hopefully he will take out my drain too!) It hasn't been seeping as much today, and I've got it all covered up and bandaged. :)
