3 Months Post-Op (boring, but with pics :)
Hi Joanie - I just wanted to chime in with my experience in case yours is different from Sarah's. I had lost about 30 lbs by 3 weeks out (that liquid/pureed diet does wonders), but then I STALLED OUT big time! I stayed within a few lbs of the same weight (up and down) for WEEKS! I tried to stay fairly calm, because I'd read so much about stalls, but that little voice in my head was freaking out - did I break my DS? Is this all I'm going to lose? How could I be stalled at only three/four/five weeks post-op? WTF?!?!?!? But then I started moving again, and I've lost almost 8 lbs in the last week. Go figure! So, I just wanted to share in case you end up more like me than Sarah..... Don't freak out - the DS just works in its own time - but it DOES WORK!!!
Thanks so much for replying, Laura. It's really helpful to hear other's experiences. I was weighing every day the first couple weeks, losing at least 1-2 pounds per day (one day I lost 3 pounds!) and thought this is great! Then for 5 days now, I haven't lost any weight. I decided to start weighing once a week on Sundays. I weighed this morning, still no loss. Just like you, I've been thinking what am I doing wrong? Why is this happening so soon? So, I will take your advice, stay calm and try to quit obsessing about it. Thanks again!

Thanks Ginger! It is fun seeing everyone's transformations. I never saw your before pics until after I had met you in person, and I couldn't even believe you were the same person! You look amazing.
Let's keep rocking!

Awww, thank you Maria! I was so excited to actually fit in the cute scrubs rather than the bland unisex ones. That was a cool wow!
