3 Months Post-Op (boring, but with pics :)

All I can say is WOW!! Congrats & I thought it was DS central here!

Oh Sean, that's just the tip of the DS iceberg in my family! You met my two uncles, one who's already post-op and one who's going through the pre-op process at Abington. I also have another aunt and uncle in Northern PA who are interested (would probably go to Dr. Peters in Scranton). There's an additional two uncles locally who have expressed casual interest in the surgery. And my brother-in-law and sister-in-law have already had their consults with Dr. Greenbaum and are estimated to have their surgeries in late Spring/Summer. We're a bunch of DS-ing fools around here! lol

OMG I forgot about them!!! Didnt one have it around the holidays? I remember I was a bad influence on one at the meeting ;-)

YES! And for your bad influence, I thank you greatly! My uncle Matt is the one who was post-op, his surgery was two weeks after mine, just before Thanksgiving. He's a work in progress, but he's coming along. I *think* I've finally convinced him that he REALLY shouldn't choose low/reduced fat items because of the increased carb counts. My fingers are crossed with him. HE needs another Cheesecake Factory lunch as much as the rest of us! lol

Oh my gaw, girl, 84 pounds in three months?! You are amazing! I am so glad that you've had (as far as I know) a relatively uneventful recovery. You're truly a beautiful person, inside and out. Oh, and your surgeon saw me on my last day at the hospital, instead of Dr. B. Everything I've heard was right! He's tall, handsome, AND he smells divine. You lucky thing! Take care. :)

Thanks Anna! I have definitely had an uneventful surgery/recovery and an (almost, I think) cast iron tummy. Hehehe, I'm glad you liked Dr. G! Someone at the PADS Christmas party called him "Doctor Delicious." LOL I don't remember specifically how he smelled, but I will say that the knowledge that I was propped up on an OR table in front of him takes away some of the mystery for me (certainly NOT my most-stellar look, LOL). I do dig on the accent though.
