Hi and thanks

I made it through surgery just fine.  When they wheeled me into the operating room they were playing really good 70's rock.  And I doing a little bit of foot dancing while laying on the table waiting to go under.

The surgeon was able to do what he wanted to do without the skin graft so I am very pleased.  My eyes are sewn shut so I am having a wee bit of trouble seeing.  I am getting excellent care and good pain management.  Every three hours I get either a dilaudid pill or a  morphine shot.

I look pretty rough and I have been quick to tell folks I had surgery so they do not think that Mr. Red beat me!

Guess that is about it for now.  I thank you all for your good thoughts and prayers.

Red

Wow Red, you're awesome posting already! You will be up and around in no time; showing off your racy scars and such. Take it easy and enjoy the down time; get caught up on all the soaps, but mostly just get all healed up.

Best,

Kerry

Yay!!! a Red update!  I'm so glad surgery went so well.. Speedy recovery thoughts and swinging critters for ya.

I'm doing well myself and have only had a half dose of oxycodone (no tylenol) today.  I am a bit sore, but the opiates are making me have butt hives (TMI sorries).  Will take more tylenol tonight instead of the good drugs.

I'm sure Mr. Red is taking good care of you.  Use your spirometer thingie!!!

Hugs,
Ratkity

See, Red, even when you're in pain from surgery, your sense of humor just doesn't stop!  Rest up and send pics later.
