A little update

Just thought I would pop in and let everyone know how I am doing.  I was discharged from the hospital on Monday (but stayed in Tampa instead of returning to Orlando).  I had my first post op follow-up yesterday.  All of the docs at the clinic said that I looked good.  But man I sure as heck do not think I look good.  I still have a lot of bruising and swelling.  I had some of my stitiches removed yesterday and the staples will come out next week.

I am so happy to be home with DH and the kids.  I really missed them.

I will post more soon, but I wanted to thank everyone for their kindness and support.

I'm glad you are home and doing well, Red. I bet the bruising and swelling will start to go away soon. I am curious, why do you have staples and where are they?

The surgeon revised my brow lift so the staples are from that procedure.  They are in my head and in the hair.

Oh, ok, that makes sense. I didn't realize you were having that done as well. I knew you were having the revision to your lower eyelid and I was trying to figure out where staples fit in to that equation. Whew...I was nervous there for a bit...LOL

Welcome home and so glad to see you posting.  You've definately been missed.  I hope you feel better each and every day.  I'm so glad to hear that the doctors are positive about the results, hopefully you'll see them too, and soon!

Red, I was busy packing, moving, unpacking, etc for the last week and had been offline. I didn't even know you were having a procedure, but sure glad you are on the other side of it and healing.
