Please Share Your Favorite Protein Shake Recipes With Me
Help me out! What's your favorite?
I like most all the Pure Whey Stack flavors, Cookies & Cream is just my fav. I also like the Chocolate, but it's a little too strong for my taste, so I mixi with equal parts of Vanilla, then it's almost as good as the Cookies & Cream to me. It's a little thicker and that's one of the reasons I like the Cookies & Cream so much, it's like drinking a slightly thinned chocolate milk.
I agree though that the protein shakes are a real personal taste, Barb loves the Chocolate and doesn't care that much for the Cookies & Cream, so you may want to get some samples from Vitalady. Her favorite by the way is a mix of Stack Chocolate and IDS Vanilla/Cinnamon; I've tried it and like it too.
Cheers,
Mickie

These are some of my favorites. I use the Champion Nutrition Pure Whey Stack, but the recipes will work with whatever your own favorite protein powder happens to be.
Chocolate – Peanut Butter Shake
4 – 6 oz milk (or water if desired)
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 tablespoon peanut butter
½ cup ice
Place ingredients in a blender. Whirl.
Banana – Peanut Butter Shake
Same as above except use Banana Scream Protein powder
Vanilla Frappe
1 cup strong coffee
1 scoop Vanilla protein powder
¼ cup milk
½ to ¾ cup ice
Mix protein powder with Half & Half until well mixed and smooth. Gradually add coffee and stir. Add the coffee mixture and the ice in a blender. Blend until smooth and delicious. Can also be served over ice instead of blended.
Mocha Frappe
Same as above except use Chocolate Protein powder.
Cinnamon Vanilla Latte
1 cup (or desired amount) brewed coffee
1 scoop Vanilla Protein powder
Sprinkle of cinnamon to taste
Add a small amount of warm (not hot) coffee to the protein powder and stir into a smooth slurry. Gradually add remaining coffee. Stir until combined. At this point the coffee mixture can be heated in the microwave until it is about 150 – 160 degrees. (Note: Champion Nutrition Pure Whey Stack can be heated to this temperature. Not all protein powders can be heated to this temperature.)
Mocha Latte
Same as above except use Chocolate Protein powder and omit the cinnamon.
Banana Nut Oatmeal
1 serving plain oatmeal prepared according to package directions
1 scoop Banana Scream Protein Powder
1 tsp (or to taste) toasted pecans or walnuts (optional)
Milk to taste
Add Banana Scream Protein powder to prepared plain oatmeal. Oatmeal will be very thick now so gradually add mil****il desired consistency. Stir in toasted nuts. Serve warm.
Note: Instead of the milk called for in the above recipes you can substitute Soy Milk, Half & Half, or your favorite milk alternative – according to your personal preference.
For quick and easy protein supplementation mix a scoop of powder with 4 ounces of water. Stir or shake (if you have a shaker****il well blended. Pour over ice if desired. This is an easy way to get in your protein without taking up too much room in your stomach.

If you like coffee, try the Champion Mocha Cappucino. I use a double scoop, mix in 8 oz of mootopia milk and stick the whole thing in the freezer for about thirty minutes. Take it out, stir it again, then I put a whole bunch of whipped cream on the top. I don't like protein mix taste either, but I'm okay with this because the smell isn't bad and it tastes more like coffee than anything.
