I was thinking of you anyway, remembering when you were stuck in that stall at about 220.  I seem to be stuck in the 190's and am trying to have hope that I'll lose at least another 20 pounds.. maybe things will look better when the weather is warmer.

Boy do I ever remember that; I was stuck at 219 for three months! I was beginning to think I would be there forever LOL!

I know how tough it is to be stuck and see other people shedding weight like a winter coat in springtime. All I can say is that we're all so different, I don't think you can take what anyone else did and apply it to yourself, you just have to figure out what works for you and stick to it. For me, that's to eat lots of protein and be active, working out and playing tennis, golf or what ever.

I honestly can't ever remember feeling so good, ever. But then, it's been so long ago that I was a youngster, maybe I've forgotten what it feels like to be young. All I know; is that I feel great and I've never had a smaller waist as an adult, and that is pretty hard to beat.

Hang in there Nancy, keep doing what works for you, you'll get where you want to be. Try to remember how you looked and felt a year ago today; my guess is that the difference is hard to measure.

Thanks for the encouragement. I tried to send you a PM, but your profile must be marked private. I am from the SLC area. My husband and I vacation at Entrada, usually in the early summer. We also have a time share in St George that we use frequently. Perhaps we can visit sometime pre or post switch! I don't know anyone here who has had the switch. I think that if my husband could actually meet a living, breathing person that made it through the surgery, he would feel a lot better.

We are going to Vegas for a week after the Legislative session ends (next week - my poor husband is always completely fried after this time of year passes) Would love to plan to meet you and your wife. I already adore her - as she is so much like my husband. He has loved me through thick and thin. Bless our sweethearts.

Have you spoken to Dr. Simper in SLC? He does the DS and there are a couple of his patients who post here; Maria and Paula, both live in the SL area.
