Does MY DS Have an OFF Switch?

Ok y'all I love my DS. I have lost 120 pounds, and I am almost where I want to be as far as size. I am in a 14-16, and honestly about 20 more pounds off would be cool with me. I never really wanted to be tiny. I'm just happy to be out of the plus size department in the store.
So, how do I turn this little monster off? I eat all the time and I am still losing? I am afraid I'll look like an aneorexic on crack! I thought I had successfully made myself stall last week, but I got on the scale the next day and was down another 2 pounds. I haven't hit a stall yet since the surgery! Could this be too much of a good thing?
I know Dr H, and the medical charts, and the media say I'm still way too fat, but I am cool with me the way I am now. Maybe it's a cultural difference or a person preference, but I am happy, my clothes fit well, I don't have loose skin, I turn heads when I walk into a room.
How do I stop shrinking!!!!

Valerie,
I was reading through this post and came accross yours and wanted to ask....what do you mean about expect to lose about 80% of your excess weight??? I am pre op so no surgery yet but Im curiouse to see where my body will stop.....I am 5'4 and 405 lbs, my goal weight is around 150-160 ish, but when i calculated my weight now and i subtracted just 70% weight that put me around 125 which was really low to me, am I calculating that wrong??? I know each person is different just trying to get an idea of how little I will get, I too am afraid of getting super skinny and looking sickly......
also once you hit goal, what do you do to maintain it and not keep losing??? eat more carbs??
If my experience is anywhere near normal, you will get down to within 10 pounds or so of your idea weight and things will stabilize.
The one thing that can screw all of this up is your pre-conceived idea of what you should look like and how much you should weigh. Your ideal size and weight may be quite a bit smaller and lighter than what you're thinking.

Never thought I'd have a fear of becoming too thin. Ironic isn't it?

So I don't think you have to worry about it. And if for some reason you really get too low there are things you can do.

Simple natural sugars will slow or stop the weight loss. (This is not to suggest that Kit Kat and Mars bars to be used for weight control!)
Pancreatic enzyme supplements also will slow or reverse the weight loss.
Also remember that almost all patient will have some weight regain after their weight stabilizes.
What is more important than the weight (high or low) is the general health condition. If a patient is not a diabetic anymore, and Blood pressure, cholesterol, etc problems are resolved then the amount of weight loss
Share your concerns with your surgeon.
Hope this helps
