Hey, if you don't mind us pleasantly sozzled folks you'll fit in just fine! Montana has something for everyone. Besides, we might need a couple designated drivers .

Which weekend works best for you?

I really have no preference--either weekend is fine.  I think my husband, Dave, may fly out after the weekend to meet up with me and we'll head off for a week of our own vacation.  This is so great!

Did you know that according to MapQuest there are three Three Forks MT?  Which county is the one we would be in?

Becky,

I think this is the one:

That would be Gallitin County, I think...

I don't drink very much, but I do drink a little on occasion. I NEVER drink and drive even after 1 drink so I will need a Designated Driver..LOL

I think it will be fun! I would love to meet Elizabeth and Sue is talking about coming. I would love to meet you also!

I am getting excited.  I need to know which weekend as soon as possible as I have dogs to arrange care for.  Lack of care for them would be a deal breaker for me obviously.  I don't care which weekend, just need to know which one.

I've never been to this part of the country.  The motel looks great.  I would love to see Yellowstone, how about you?

The flight is a bit expensive, but doable.  I would definitley go for the 4 nights.

I have been to Yellowstone. You will love it!! I would like to go again, you could spend years there and still find something new.

I actually own 8 acres in Montana close to Great Falls.  It is unimproved and I never go there, just pay the taxes every year, of course 8 acres in Montana is comparable to hmmm maybe 1/2 a small closet in a city..lol

I think I might be able to make either weekend work, the later one is more possible for me. I will have to arrange care for 1 dog and my uncle, but I think I can get my daughter to do it for me.

Let's see which dates she comes up with..

I am getting excited too!

Well, thus far we have only one specific request for the second weekend, so I'd kind of lean in that direction.

If you really really want to see Yellowstone, consider adding two more nights to your trip. It's a hell of a long drive.

Huh? That's news to me! Yup, Gallatin County is the one. It's about, oh I dunno, 30-40 miles from the Bozeman airport, which is a stone's throw out there, and all interstate. You can't miss it, I promise.
